Re: Spuds have Covid in the camp
It’s a ducking joke that north London bunch of cunts have got another game off.

So fucking sick of them getting away with pulling strokes.

Conte and Levy have used the current climate to manufacture a situation to give their players a rest, miss key fixtures until they can strengthen in January and clear up a few injuries.

As much as I detest them, they are bright.

We’ll keep playing on fumes dropping points and tumbling down the league with injuries, fatigue and poor form.

Let’s get Norwich played on Saturday and throw some positive covid tests in get the cup game postponed.

Chelsea & Liverpool get to play 2 of their bankers tonight and rack on 3 points a piece.

What a surprise.

Re: Spuds have Covid in the camp
1) find 1 person with covid
2) stick 8 swabs up his nose
3) claim areola, Longelo, Kral, baptiste, ogbonna, zooma, Chesters, yarmolenko all have taken tests and have covid.
4) strategic games called off. Wait till injured players return and or we buy replacements
5) relax.

Re: Spuds have Covid in the camp
Do you know if clubs have to name the players out? Or is that confidential medical info!

It’s all so open to clubs taking advantage of situation.

If let’s say our injured back 4 get covid could be ask to postpone? That’s 4 cases and we
May not have to say who the 4 at etc?

if our game is off we lose Coufal for the Spurs game

Re: Spuds have Covid in the camp
What annoys me is that I bet the cup game will go ahead, with most of Spurs squad having had a lovely long rest and most of our lot on fumes and possibly still without three of our back four.

"If any of the players testing positive are unvaccinated, they don’t count towards the 4"

That'll mean the vast majority of players if they're only double jabbed, wouldn't it?

Re: Spuds have Covid in the camp
Leicester vs spurs also off am hearing

Reckon all weekend games will be off?

We play Norwich who have loads out so we should be favourites

That said weekend off will help us with our injuries and rest for Christmas period

Re: Spuds have Covid in the camp
Rule should be - if 4 or more regular first team players (played in 25% or more of their games this season) test positive the game to be called off.

If any of the players testing positive are unvaccinated, they don’t count towards the 4 and if any have played under 25% of the games, they also don’t count.

Re: Spuds have Covid in the camp
Liverpool is apparently the only club with fully vaccinated squad members. Fair play to them.

Alle other teams should be fining their players who refuses to be vaccinated, and the PL should not postpone a game if a team has an outbreak between unvaccinated players.

Burnley off tonight.

I have this feeling that West Ham might be the only team not to get a rest this festive season.

ludo21 4:19 Wed Dec 15
Re: Spuds have Covid in the camp
So the Man Utd match was called off with only three covid cases?!

This is becoming ridiculous... PL need to agree a number of players out with covid that constitutes a reason to postpone and then apply it in all cases. Each club should have at least 25 registered first team squad players so the 'magic number' shouldn't be less than 5.

If you can/must play with 9 out then you can/must play with 8 out - same league, same rules.

That tottenham chose to not play 2 matches with only 8 players missing surely means both matches need to be awarded to the opposition - without cause to appeal.

Re: Spuds have Covid in the camp

It would be very unusual that you don't have a keeper on the bench. But anyhow, I agree that Tottenham and Man Utd should have been made to play, but they weren't.

Now if everyone wants teams to be treated differently, depending on whether you're one of the "Big Six" or not, perhaps we can have an end to all the threads and comments about it not being fair when they do get treated differently.

But for me, if the bar has been set by Tottenham and Man Utd then the rest of us should be treated the same.

Charoo 4:07 Wed Dec 15
Re: Spuds have Covid in the camp
Just heard that the premier league is making Leicester play Spurs tomorrow even though Leicester have 9 out.

So it was fine for them North London Cunts but Leicester have to play.

It’s fucking outrageous.

Re: Spuds have Covid in the camp
Are Norwich playing for a place in Europe next year?

Are they one of the clubs where TV companies have to beat advertisers off with several shitty sticks?

Do they have a truly impressive complimentary pre-match media correspondents buffet?

Answers on the back of a postcard, please.
